A small and intimate custom woodcraft shop

Don, Owner/designer/craftsman, started making handcrafted hardwood boxes as a hobby. His love for wood working turned into a passion  to design and build  the perfect piece.  Now in just a few years, is offering a line of beautiful solid hardwood boxes, ranging from business card boxes, to Jewelry / Valet  Boxes.

All  Boxes are individually hand made.

Don likes to keeps to his own design style, but is always up to the challenge of customized work. Therefore you will see similar boxes, but none are exactly the same. In order to keep the uniqueness about the boxes,  mass producing is out of the picture. Not that Don has not tried
to make more that one at a time,  however they still all turned out a little different. To view go to The Box Gallery.

(The North Thompson Woodworkers Guild)
(Director 2008)
Belonging to a wood workers guild is a great way to meet other woodworkers . You can sit down and talk wood, technique ,tools and  ideas. The North Thompson Woodworkers  Guild  members try to get together four times a year. They also put on or attend various  woodworking shows  through out the province .

Artwork

Not only does Don build boxes he also likes to draw .  Don has been interested in art for as long as  he can remember.  He loves to draw birds and animals.  Recently he has been doing dog portraits for people. To see some of his artwork click on art gallery.
