" I started out making different projects, but soon turned to the box."

There is something special about a box... you can store things in them , you can hide or keep very special items in them . There is just something about a box!

Have you ever noticed that when you see a box no matter where you are, you just have to open it ! What is inside? The curiosity is just there . For example your in a mall, just looking for ideas for a gift or something. You wander by a Jewelry store, you look around , you see some jewelry boxes over on the shelf, you walk over to look at them , but are you afraid to touch them like most every thing else in the store? NO! You open the box !

I think that is why I like making boxes. There curious but useful. It's like having that very special personal space to keep thinks in that matter to you most.

Now I make Hardwood Boxes with Hardwoods from around the world. You now can find them in  fine galleries in British Columbia, and in homes in Canada and the United States and Europe. They are all individually handcrafted small pieces of furniture that if taken care of will stay in the family for generations to come.

What started as a hobby is now a small business. But it's still a lot of fun!  I enjoy every moment I have in the work shop.
