Hi Don just a quick mail to tell you how brilliantly the proposal went in Santorini.
Santorini was the picture perfect location for it and it went amazingly well she was in total shock and was blown away by the ring and loved your ebony ring box. It was worth the torture of having to keep it all secret for so many months. Truly thank you for this ring box its looks unbelievable, it was the perfect ring box to set off the ring and for making the whole experience of buying it a pleasure. Dawn loved it and loved the personalized documents and the story of it to match the whole special occasion. We really appreciate the time and care that went into the box and want to say thank you for that.

Artwork - "The print is a very special gift...."

Just so you know .. the print is a very special gift for a close work colleague of mine here in Sydney (he headed up all the marketing for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games in 2000 and I worked with him on this and many other projects besides).

He is a mad keen surfer from way back (his best stress reliever he tells me) and I showed him the print on line and he just loved it.... it sort of reminds him of he and I looking out into the ocean for the next big inspiration!

Oh man , that box is stunning!!

Oh man , that box is stunning!! I'm sorry I didn't get back to you earlier but all the computers that hook to the internet were at the repair shop for the last week and I also moved and the phones were down for a couple days, The box is incredible (I've got it at the front of the office and everyone that comes in loves it - though I may move it to my desk soon before anyone gets an idea and "liberates" it. Having it in your hands is much better than looking on the web and allows me to really appreciate your workmanship - the pens are pretty sweet too. We all loved the chocolates - how did you know about my weakness for dark chocolate? Haha

Seriously, Don thanks very much - I know one day we'll be looking at one of your boxes on Antiques Road Show.

Dear Don,

I recently acquired one of your works of art, #77 Australian Rosewood Jewelry box. I love it! Upon careful examination, I have come to the conclusion that it is truly, “unique, elegant and definitely superior craftsmanship”. I can tell that you put your heart into perfecting every square inch of this creation. It will be a treasure in my family for many generations. Thank you for giving so much of yourself in creating this lovely holder of jewels – it says volumes about you and your life-work.

"She is exquisite."

Dear Don,

Oh my goodness, I can hardly believe it. She is exquisite. (Notice

I refer to the box as a "she") I've already named her... her name is

Treasure... for the treasure she contains and the treasure that she is.

I cannot believe that it is even possible to create something this

beautiful. She is even better than I could have possibly dreamed of.

I mean, I know that we did the design and picked the woods etc. But

it doesn't compare to seeing the finished result.

She is an absolute work of art. And I want you to know that I will

cherish her for my entire life and will pass her on to my children

along with my Grandmother's jewels.

I send my Grandma a photo of Treasure... she was blown away. And she is so pleased how I am taking care of the jewels.

The thing is, I mean, I know that the jewels have monetary value,

but to me, they represent how much my grandfather loved my

grandmother. That is what they represent. Whenever I look at Treasure,

I will always be thinking of what she holds.

I know how much care you put into making her. I know how much timeyou put into her. Please know that I am so very grateful that you did.
